and now i’ve just found this wonderful reading on vinyl in the digital age and ahhhhhh why am i starting to enjoy uni assignments?

i wish i’ve more assignment sorta like that and not just the typical ‘define the ff words’ or ‘solve the give problems’ errrgghh

heh it’s actually a really boring assignment to start off with i just swayed it alot to fit what im interested in ‘cause at uni the assignments are ALOT less specific than they were at highschool, meaning you can do pretty much anything as long as it relates and you can justify it :)

I did something similar and wrote about rock’n;roll as a pop culture and about 50% of my essay was me discussing the beatles hair :/ got 19.5/20

oooo i actually nearly wrote about that but decided not to cause i knew i would get distracted and go off topic haha. that’s so good though! i guess whoever marked it was also a bit of a beatles hair fan? hahahaha 

doing an assignment based on the distribution of music through history and its “projected future” and researching fan culture and how media stuff uses participation via internet tools and stuff and this is real interesting and i interact with this first-hand every day and wow i really chose a good topic go me
